TOP 5 COUPLE WORKOUT ROUTINES TO DO

While there are couples who see travelling together or eating at fancy restaurants their relationship goals, some pairs consider staying fit and healthy together as the best goal they can have not only to keep their love longer but also to be able to conquer the rest of their lives strongly. Thus, doing couple or partner workouts have become a trend for them.

Based on research, people who have an exercise buddy are said to least likely drop out from a fitness program. And indeed, working out has never felt so good when you got a buddy to do different routines with you — most especially if this buddy is actually your special someone. In celebration of love month, get to know these fun partner workout routines.

Suggested Couple Workout Routines

Quality time — every couple has their own way of spending quality time be it a night in a cinema or a night in such comfortable couch cuddling and munching on a mouthwatering Pepperoni pizza. But other couples sweat off their day, sticking into their fitness programs by working out together.

CROSS JUMP LUNGES

CROSS JUMP LUNGES

What to do: Face each other and perform jump lunges; Right leg bent, grasp each other’s left hands, left leg bent, right-hand grasps. Start with 20 repetitions then work up the numbers.

STEP LUNGES

If you do not like to do the jump lunges. Do the step lunges. Set two points — Point A for start and Point B for the end. Stand next to each other. Begin with the right leg, stand up, then do the left leg lunge. After reaching the end point, do the step lunges going back to Point A.

COUPLE SQUATS

LIGHT JUMP, SQUATS

Face each other then begin with five light jumps, knees slightly bent. After the light jumps, go into a deep squat five times while holding your abs tightly. When doing squats, be sure that the knees don’t go past your toes.

PUSH UP CROSS HIGH FIVE

Do a single push up, reach out for your partner’s hand to do a cross high five. Do this for 20 repetitions.

Wall Sit with Tricep Dips

WALL SIT WITH TRICEP DIP

Trust and swap. Ask partner A to endure a 20-second wall sit as partner B presses down on partner A’s legs while doing tricep dips. Swap places after 20 seconds. Do three repetitions.

Working out with your partner is highly motivational. Besides spicing up the romance with a new type of intimacy, both of you are generating a similar goal which is to establish a fit and healthier relationship.
